What are my favorite WordPress themes?

How did I start web design?

I started web design with Microsoft FrontPage about 15 years ago. To be honest, I did not any idea about many aspects of web design those days. I thought that some HTML pages with some flash effects is all I need. When I got familiar with WordPress I started designing with Graphene theme about 10 years ago. It was great really!

Working with free themes

I continued working with free themes for about 2 years. Some of them are still great. But I decided to choose only premium themes. I strongly suggest you do that if you want to remain a professional up-to-date designer.

What are my favorite WordPress themes?

After years of working here are some of my favorite themes and the reason why I love them:

GeneratePress Premium (GP)

This great strong lightweight theme is a great choice for bloggers. My website is powered by GeneratePress. The very important thing is the unlimited license of GP. The support is amazing. You can learn many things just by reading GP discussions. The free version is available here, but I strongly suggest purchasing the premium version and unlocking many features.
The only weakness of GP is it has not a page builder.

Divi from Elegant Themes

Purchasing a lifetime license for Divi theme has been of my best buys ever. Divi is amazing for all kinds of WordPress websites, especially classic corporation websites. It is fast with hundreds of pre-made websites and pages.
I do not suggest Divi for WooCommerce and news websites. Divi has updated its page-builder and theme-builder, but it still needs improvement to be an ideal shop theme.

Avada from Themeforest

Avada is the best-selling theme in ThemeForest. With no doubt it is great! The backend of Avada builder is great. Avada is a very good choice both for beginners and pros. I do not suggest Avada for WooCommerce. For all other needs, you can buy and enjoy it!

Porto from Themeforest

If you are looking for a multi-purpose WooCommerce theme, think of Porto theme. It has many shopping features that you can not find in others easily. It supports both Visual Composer and Elementor page builders. It also has many pre-made demos that you can import with simple clicks.
